Delivery

Multi-courier shipping software that watches every parcel

Connect your Cargus and Sameday accounts once. Create AWBs and follow every parcel on one board, where GLS parcels also show, in beta. Automatic label printing is in beta too.

Why it matters

Sellers who ship with several couriers lose hours on courier websites and usually hear about a stuck parcel from an angry customer.

Delivery puts every courier on one board, prints labels by itself in beta, and shows which products, couriers, offers and dispatch days end in refused parcels. The live store it was built on shows the result: 99% of shipping labels created with no human click.

You hear about stuck parcels from angry customers

A store that ships with several couriers has several websites to check, and nobody has time to open each one for every parcel. So a stuck or lost parcel usually comes to light when the customer calls to complain.

By then it is harder to fix. A failed delivery nobody followed up turns into a return, and with cash on delivery you pay shipping both ways and collect nothing.

Every courier and every parcel on one board

Connect each courier account once. Tracking starts on its own, and you create or cancel AWBs and download labels without opening the courier's website.

One board shows parcels shipped, on the road, delivered and returned, plus anything waiting on a decision. Parcels that stop moving, failed deliveries and labels that belong to no order are flagged, and a quick search opens any parcel's history with its order value, cash on delivery and shipping cost.

The reports show where refusals come from: which products customers refuse most, which couriers and sales channels leave the most parcels uncollected, whether offers like free shipping lead to more refusals, and which dispatch days and delays end in parcels nobody collects.

Delivery has its own section in the menu, starting with the operations board. You connect courier accounts in Settings, under Plugins, and handle returns in Inventory.

AI takes on the courier paperwork, in beta

The AI in Delivery is in beta and handles what happens after a delivery goes wrong. Courier emails about failed deliveries show up next to their order, sorted by what needs a follow-up. For stuck or lost parcels, a claim to the courier is written for you, and nothing is sent until you approve it.

Also in beta, when a courier cannot deliver, an AI call can ask the customer what they want and pass the answer to the courier: deliver again, send elsewhere or return. These calls start only when you switch them on.

How it works

  1. Connect each courier onceAdd your Cargus and Sameday accounts once and tracking starts on its own. GLS parcels also show on the same board, in beta.
  2. Create the AWB and labelCreate or cancel AWBs and download labels in Portantis. In beta, confirmed orders get theirs printed automatically.
  3. Every parcel is followedStatuses from every courier update on their own and land on one board. Nobody has to check by hand.
  4. Problems are raised earlyParcels that stop moving, failed deliveries and labels without an order are flagged. In beta, stuck or lost parcels get a claim email ready for your OK.

What changes for you

  • No more courier websites for tracking
  • Parcels that stop moving flagged for you
  • Most-refused products flagged at a level you set
  • Riskiest dispatch days shown

Delivery, feature by feature

Automatic AWBs and label printing Beta

Orders that are ready to ship get their AWB made and their label printed at your warehouse, so nobody copies addresses into a courier website.

  • Packers get their labels one product at a time, so packing goes faster.
  • Only orders that are ready to ship get a label. Orders on hold, cancelled or still waiting for the customer wait until they are ready.
  • You decide whether cash on delivery orders need the customer's confirmation before a label is made.
  • An order never gets two AWBs, and products you mark to skip are left for your team.

Labels are ready while the team packs. Live store result: 99% of shipping labels created with no human click.

Cargus and Sameday parcel tracking in one place

Every parcel's status updates on its own, and the parcels that need a person are listed on one board, so nobody opens courier websites to check.

  • Parcels that stop moving, fail delivery, get refused or go missing are flagged for you.
  • Labels that belong to no order are listed so your team can sort them out.
  • You see at a glance when a courier account stops working or needs to be connected again.
  • Your courier logins are checked when you add them and kept private.

Courier websites stay closed, and a parcel that goes quiet is flagged long before the customer calls.

Cash on delivery refusals by product

See which products, courier accounts, sales channels and weeks leave the most cash on delivery parcels uncollected, so you know where refusals really come from.

  • Products with too many refused parcels are flagged, and you choose where that line sits.
  • Compare the same numbers by courier account, sales channel or week to see what is behind a jump.
  • See which win-back offers, such as extra quantity, free shipping or an added product, lead to parcels that get collected.
  • The product report shows units only, no money, so you can share it with your whole team.

You see which product or offer drives uncollected parcels and can fix the listing, price or ads before paying shipping both ways again.

Delivery times and the best days to ship

See how long orders take to be shipped, picked up and delivered, and which dispatch days and delays end in parcels nobody collects.

  • See how long it takes from order to label, from label to courier pickup and from pickup to delivery.
  • See how many late-shipped orders ended up uncollected.
  • See how quickly parcels reach customers once the courier has them.
  • Refusals are grouped by the day the parcel left, and any day opens to the parcels behind it.

Slow packing or a weak dispatch day shows up as lost collections, so you know which one to fix first.

Delivery dashboard with cash on delivery tracking

One board follows every order from placed to delivered or returned, compares your couriers and shows where your cash on delivery money is. Every number opens the orders behind it.

  • See every order's stage at a glance: not shipped yet, on the road, delivered, not delivered or not collected.
  • Compare couriers side by side on parcels shipped, delivery and refusal rates, cash expected and cost per parcel, clearly marked when a cost is an estimate.
  • Know how much cash on delivery is still with the courier, paid out or settled, and which parcels came back after the courier had already paid.
  • Orders with a wrong address or phone number, and returns still waiting for a refund, sit on the same page.

Couriers, cash and returns are checked on one page, and any number opens the list of orders behind it.

Blacklist customers who keep refusing parcels Beta

See which customers keep leaving parcels uncollected. Once you switch the rule on, their new cash on delivery orders are cancelled before they cost you a text, a call or a label.

  • Only parcels the customer truly did not collect count against them.
  • The rule stays off until you turn it on, and then only touches new unpaid orders.
  • Orders your team placed by hand and orders already confirmed are never cancelled by it, and anything unclear goes to a person.
  • The delivery board shows how many new orders come from customers who refused parcels before.

Orders from repeat refusers are stopped before they use a confirmation text, a call or a label.

Claims to the courier for stuck and lost parcels Beta

Parcels the courier is sitting on are found for you, a claim email is written with everything the courier needs, and the reply is followed until the case closes. Today this covers Cargus parcels.

  • Parcels stuck on the road, at a pickup point or on their way back are found without anyone checking.
  • Nothing is sent until you approve it. Reminders go out on their own only if you turn that on.
  • The courier's replies land next to the order, and cases close by themselves once the parcel is delivered.
  • Parcels that stay stuck go on a list for a person.

Stuck and lost parcels get chased long before a customer complains or the cash fails to arrive.

Failed delivery emails sorted and customers called back Beta

When a courier emails that a parcel could not be delivered, you see it next to the order with a clear note on whether someone needs to act. An AI call can then ask the customer what they want.

  • Notices that need no follow-up are set aside, so your team only sees the ones that do.
  • With rescue calls switched on, the courier is told to deliver again, redirect or return the parcel only after the customer gives a clear yes.
  • Unclear answers and requests for a return or refund go to a person, and customers who ask not to be called are not called again.
  • When the courier was at fault and the customer cancels, the courier is asked for compensation.

A failed delivery gets a decision while the parcel is still with the courier, before it turns into a return paid both ways.

Warehouse checks and label printer alerts Beta

A stopped printer, a parcel scanned twice or an order left without a label is caught during the day, before the courier comes.

  • You get an alert when labels pile up at the printer, and the same label is not printed twice.
  • Through the day, ready orders are sorted into shipped, on hold, waiting for stock or needing an address check.
  • Parcels scanned twice and shipped orders nobody scanned are flagged for you.
  • Enter your packing hours and how many orders one person packs in an hour, and the daily check tells you whether today's orders fit or how many extra people you need.

Problems at the packing table surface during the day, while the courier has not yet collected.

Choose the courier by region or product, with a backup Beta

Decide which courier ships which orders, and keep shipping when one courier has trouble.

  • Pick which courier serves certain regions or products before any label is made.
  • If a label fails, the order can go with your backup courier instead of stopping, and anything still stuck is flagged for a person.
  • Pause a courier and its orders wait for you instead of going elsewhere.
  • You set how many parcels an order ships in and which parcel type each courier uses.

A courier outage or a weak region no longer stops shipping, and nobody reroutes orders by hand.

What you can do with Delivery

  • Stop shipping to customers who never collect

Turn on the refusal rule, in beta. New unpaid orders from customers who keep refusing parcels are cancelled before you spend a confirmation text, a call or a label on them. Orders your team placed are never touched.

  • Plan packing staff before the day starts

Enter your team's packing hours and how many orders one person packs in an hour. Each day the warehouse check, in beta, tells you whether today's orders fit or how many extra people you need.

  • Fix or drop the products customers refuse

Products with too many uncollected parcels are flagged, at a level you choose. Fix the listing, price or ads for those products, or stop selling them.

  • Pick the dispatch days that get collected

See which dispatch days and late shipments lead to more refused parcels, then move packing or pickups to the days that work.

  • Test offers without hurting collection rates

See, offer by offer, how often parcels from won-back orders get collected: extra quantity, free shipping or an added product. Keep the offers whose parcels get collected as often as the rest.

  • Keep shipping when one courier fails

With courier routing, in beta, a failed label can go with your backup courier, and you can pause a courier without losing its orders. Nobody reroutes orders by hand.

  • Chase stuck parcels without opening courier sites

In beta, stuck or lost Cargus parcels get a claim email ready for your approval, and the courier's reply lands next to the order.

  • Know where your cash on delivery is

See how much cash on delivery is still with the courier, paid out or settled, and which parcels came back after the courier had already paid for them.

Questions about Delivery

What is Delivery in PortantisAI?

Delivery is the PortantisAI module that puts every courier and every parcel on one board. Connect your Cargus and Sameday accounts once, create AWBs and labels without opening courier websites, and see problem parcels before your customers call. GLS parcels also show on the same board, in beta. Automatic label printing is in beta too.

Which couriers does Delivery connect to?

Cargus and Sameday. You connect each account once in Settings, under Plugins, and tracking starts on its own. GLS parcels also show on the same board, in beta. You can connect several accounts and compare how well each one delivers in the reports.

Will my team still need the courier websites?

Not for daily work. AWBs are created and cancelled in Portantis, labels download there and parcel statuses update on their own. In beta, claims for stuck or lost parcels are written for your approval, and the courier's replies are kept next to the order.

Is label printing automatic?

Automatic label printing is in beta: confirmed orders get their AWB and label printed without a click, and you get an alert when printing gets stuck. On a live store running Portantis, the result was 99% of shipping labels created with no human click.

How do I find out why parcels are refused?

Delivery ranks products by how often customers refuse them and flags the ones above a level you set. You can compare refusals by courier account, sales channel or week, see whether offers like free shipping lead to more refusals, and check which dispatch days and delays end in parcels nobody collects.

Can I choose which courier ships an order?

Yes, with courier routing rules, in beta: pick which courier serves certain regions or products before the label is made. Also in beta, orders with an out-of-stock product wait until stock is back, and a daily check sorts ready orders into shipped, on hold, waiting for stock or needing an address check.

What counts as a parcel the customer did not collect?

Only a parcel the courier brings back without delivering it. A cancelled payment or a label that was never used does not count, and parcels still on the road never make your numbers look worse.

Will Portantis cancel an order from a customer who refused parcels before?

Only if you switch that beta rule on, and only for new unpaid orders from customers who keep refusing parcels. Orders your team placed and orders already confirmed are never touched, and anything unclear goes to a person.

What if the label printer stops or a label fails?

In beta, you get an alert when labels pile up at the printer. If it is unclear whether a label printed, your team is asked to check before anything prints again, and an order never gets two AWBs.

Do I have to refresh parcel statuses myself?

No. Statuses for every connected Cargus or Sameday account update on their own through the day, and cash on delivery payouts show up where the courier provides them.

Can I pause the delivery automation?

Yes. Each automatic step, such as label printing, warehouse checks and printer alerts, has its own switch, all in beta, and one switch pauses all automation and AI spending at once. New rules ask you to confirm before they take effect and apply only to the next orders.
